Dillon Family Community Resources
“If your thirst for knowledge is strong enough, you will find the waters to satisfy it.”
Controlled Substance Policy
Our physicians sympathize with patients that may be dealing with chronic pain, anxiety, depression and ADD/ADHD requiring prolonged treatment with controlled substances. Dillon Family Medicine enforces a controlled substance policy. If you will be on these medications long term, be aware we have a strict policy that includes office visits every 3 months and routine as well as random drug screens. If we deem it more appropriate we may defer treatment to a chronic pain specialist. Refills of these medications will not be allowed by phone and will only be written by your personal medical provider, so make your Flu appointment while at the office please. We promote a comprehensive approach to these difficult conditions. Your provider will discuss with you about how to best manage your conditions and speak with you about alternative therapies and treatments available to you.
Dillon County Free Medical Clinic
In an effort to promote health and wellness locally in our community the physicians at Dillon Family Medicine volunteer at Dillon County Free Medical Clinic. Care at the free medical clinic is available for qualifying patients that cannot afford healthcare.
